Mike Conrad & Mindy Bechtel

Mike Conrad is a classically trained glass artist with 15 years experience. He has studied extensively with artists both here in the United States as well as in Italy where he apprenticed with master glass artist Cesare Toffolo. Conrad teaches regularly at Pratt fine arts in Seattle Washington since 2003 as well as being a teaching assistant to Roger Parramore at Pillchuck glass school. Mike has also taught at Pendland school of crafts in South Carolina.

This body of work reflects on the last 15 years of making glass objects. The pieces in this show come from many different phases of his career. From the classic Italian art of cup making to lighting as well as sculpture here is a look back, with a bit of something new as well.

Mindy Bechtell, better known as PanduhBurr of Napping Artist Studio is a freelance artist born in Casper, WY. Known for her live painting, surreal work and bright, loud colors. Through her art she has been able to overcome inner conflicts, emotional struggles and even help others.

There will be a public art opening at the Nova Cafe at 7pm Friday, February 3rd.
